GMCC2181 (366), Bear, Delaware, USA Jul 17, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear yellow in color. Two finger head. Aroma of spices orange and lemon. Taste is spicier then most witbiers. A little sourness to it. Dry aftertaste of orange. Easy to drink, not over carbonated. Good witbier!
joebudzjoe (103), Connecticut, USA Sep 1, 2008 On draft @ Monster B’s. Very fizzy pour with a thin bubble sip. Tones of orange, coriander and a bit of honey. Very light despite the ABV. My only big complaint is that it gave me a wicked case of acid reflux later on that night. Naka (415), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 26, 2008 Pours a hazy golden orange color with tons of sediment floating around. The head is about 1 finger thick and off-white. No lacing. Nose is lemon, bubblegum, honey, and yeast. The flavor didn’t pack as much punch as I thought it would, but it is very pleasing. Up front is more of the spicy yeast flavor, but it isn’t too bitey... it maintains a pretty smooth character. As that fades, there is some citrus and malty notes that linger on the tongue as the alcohol comes out. Leaves a slight bitterness in the mouth. A very creamy texture. josarah (69), Hinesburg, Vermont, USA Aug 21, 2008 12oz. bottle, lemon aroma, cloudy gold color, white head. I thought the lemon was a bit strong, but with the higher level of carbonation it worked well. Nice summer brew. DandyWolfFloyd (231), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 Aroma is full of yeast esters, honey, lemon zest, and floral aromas. It’s appearance is a slightly pale cloudy color, with a nice full head. It’s flavor is excellent with nice full pale malts, honey, light citrus, and some yeasty notes. It’s exceptionally smooth, with a bit of hmmm!!!! The power is nice creating a nice dull delivery. It’s excellent. stangger (106), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 18, 2008 12oz bottle. Lemony zest, spicy, floral aroma. Taste is very spicy and citrusy, and excellent at first. I found that the more I drank, the less I enjoyed it, as the lemon spiciness overpowered the beer.
