Aroma is coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor is mainly coffee but not overpowering, some chocolate for balanced and light on roasted malts. Thin body, silky mouthfeel and big carbonation making this almost a session coffee stout. Coffee beans linger in the aftertaste as well. Overall pretty good but could use a little more body. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Tap fill from Shoreline Beverage. Poured almost opaque with a brown head. The aroma is very pleasant. It has a nice roast, some very smooth coffee, milk chocolate and some sweetness. What I like so much is that it isn’t heavily roasted or ashey as I get often with the coffee stouts. The flavor is mildly to moderately sweet with a good roast and a chocolately coffee finish like a mocha java drink. The body is light. Very nice. thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Tap @ Blind Tiger, NYC. Pours a deep black with a lacy white to tan head. Aroma is almost all espresso, and you know this beer will pack a punch. Taste is chocolate and roasted malt up front, quickly dissolving into an all-espresso finish. Incredibly smooth on the tongue, and I never before thought it was possible to feel buzzed and wired at the same time. This beer just about pulled it off. Another winner from the fine folks at Southampton. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2007 on tap SHPH night, Blind Tiger. Black in color with a very small head. Aroma: Heavy espresso, chocolate, notes of smoke and tobacco. Taste is again, alot of espresso, not too astringent though. Blends nicely with the malt and chocolate character of this beer. Finshes light to moderately roasty. well done. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA

Aroma is of freshly over-roasted espresso, hints of chocolate and smoke. Tastes like high quality coffee with a dash of vanilla creamer, no funky burned element to be found. Lovely rendition. I wish this was bottled and in a six pack holder, in my hand, right now. Yum. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 4, 2006 The order of the day. Rich and hearty, chocolate and espresso notes all over the place, like Baker’s chocolate smashed up and blended with your local espresso joint and a kiss of cherry snuck in. Yeah, something like that. Real espresso felt all over this beer. Even on a hot day this was excellent. Good work. This could be a dessert beer, or an afternoon standover break from travelling across Long Island earlier in the hot summer day. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
