Commercial Description:
Our imperial, Baltic-style porter is inspired by the strong, dark brews exported from Great Britain to Eastern Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. Rich and flavorful with upfront notes of chocolate, caramel and toffee.

Bottle shared by robert at stateline. Black in color, small head. Decent aroma chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is an excellent balance of chocolate, roasted malt, with a small touch of hops in the after taste. The texture was thin but not weak or watery, which made it easy to drink. Smooth. Good brew. Thanks robert!

Jesus christ this is delicious! Nice black pour with dissipating dark tan head. Aroma of anise, chocolate, roast malt, and the faintest hint of smoke. That smoke aroma comes to life in the flavor. Some mocha as well. Impressive Chocolate finish. Nice brew. I’d drink this anytime

Bomber. Dark as night color and viscous. Great roasted aromas very smooth on the palate and great coffee and mocha flavors. Great baltic, would have again if it were around.

Bottled. Pours an oily black colour with a medium tan head and foamy lacing. Big aroma with coffee and fruit. First flavour is whisky and then some more coffee and chocolate. just enough smoke to balance everything out. Very nice.

Aroma is very smokey, it dominated the aroma. There are some subtle notes of chocolate, and toffee, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is very nice, robust dark fruit notes mixed in with bitter chocolate, and smoke, lots and lots of smoke. There is some nice bready, biscuity malt in the finnish, with a googd amount of bitterness with a touch of alcohol. VERY NICE!

Taste: 9/8 Bottle(Date?) Looks: Black bottom, tan thick foam. Aroma: Chocolate, roast and toasted malts. A little smoke. Taste: Same as aroma. Nice even blend. Creamy and easy to drink. Alcohol is hardly noticeable.

Bottle from PilsnerPeter, thanks man! Poured a deep brown/black color with a moderate off-white head that faded to a ring. Aroma of chocolate, some dark fruit, caramel, some light coffee, and roast. Moderately sweet chocolate malt entry with some light hints of dark fruit (plum, dark grape, and raisin), molasses and roast, finishing with some moderate yeast. Smooth and creamy, light carbonation.

12oz bottle. black under a small fizzy brown head. aroma of molasses, chocolate, and dough. a lighter bodied porter with a somewhat sharp palate. flavors of chocolate, molasses, light hops, hints of dark fruit(raisin, plum). not a sweet beer nor is it the big, dark, full, robust baltic i expected. i feel like i’m missing something. not very imperial.
