Commercial Description:
Our imperial, Baltic-style porter is inspired by the strong, dark brews exported from Great Britain to Eastern Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. Rich and flavorful with upfront notes of chocolate, caramel and toffee.

bottle courtesy of cletus. pours a thick blackened brown with minimal head, 1 finger if you are vigorous. nose has some nice chocolate muffin notes with a lil cacao powder on top and some espresso essence. taste is nice and creamy, with some solid burnt and smoked notes, yet not overwhelming. smooth drinker.

bottle: full, sweet malts in the nose, chocolate and hints of caramel. pours dark brown/black with a quickly dissipating tan head. The brew is well balanced, medium bodied and smooth mouthfeel with bright carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee finished with hops and alcohol for a nice ending. I like it a lot but probably won’t be running back to the shop for seconds.

( 22oz bottle thanks to ballewblake) Pours a dark clear brown with oily bubbles. Nose of bakers chocolate, cola and coffee. Taste is semisweet chocolate, with a very creamy body and nice carbonation. The linger is roasted toffee and the body is surprisingly light.

Bomber bottle. Poured almost opaque black, with barely any head. Weak aroma or chocolate, and some roasted malts and maybe a little caramel. Flavor is pretty bland and blah. Not much there really. Clean palate, no bitterness. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Not bad overall

Thanks Butters. Hope all goes well at Cheescake Factory. Pours a light tan head with some lace and a dark brown body. Smells of roasted malt, cocoa, and toffee. Flavor is roasted, caramel, toffee, and some cocoa. Little hint of coffee on the finish. Amazingly smooth.
