Commercial Description:
Our imperial, Baltic-style porter is inspired by the strong, dark brews exported from Great Britain to Eastern Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. Rich and flavorful with upfront notes of chocolate, caramel and toffee.

Pitch black, with a short white head. Smells of chocolate, coffee, and malts. Taste of chocolate, raisins, malts, and coffe. Nice, smooth feel, medium body. A solid beer, would drink again.

1 year old bottle from New York. Pours a pitch black with light white head. Smells of roasted chestnuts, chocolate malts, and coffee. Tastes of toasty malts, chocoale, coffee, and walnuts. Alcohol isnt extremely strong but isnt very detectable at all. Very nice chocolte in this one. Its got a little age to it, but it seems to have held over very nicely.

Nice lighly roasted malt aroma mixed with a vinuous presence--very complex. Beautiful jet black color with a medium brown head. THe palate is medium to full and very creamy with a nice carbonation. Nice light chocolate flavors with no aftertaste and just a hint of coffee. Very nice brew.

Pours dark brown/black with a foamy dark tan head. Mostly dark fruit and mocha are present in the aroma. Flavor is similar to the aroma with some light notes of roasted coffee, and a pleasant bitterness. Palate is medium, creamy, a little sticky, and a bit effervescent. Nice balance and extremely easy drinking.

22 oz bottle thanks to a trade with puzzl. Pours a brown black with no head and a very faint chocolate nutty aroma. Thick mouthfeel, sticky and chocolatey ... the dark fruits come out as it warms, enriching the palate, and finishing with sweet chocolate. Tasty beer.

Dark color; nice lace. Light aroma of roasted malt, a bit yeasty. A big flavor of dark caramel, enough roasted malt; elegant and complex. Very good.
