Aroma is nice and gentle, gives a soft impression of aroma hops, roasted coffee and dry fruit. Flavor is very aromatic, much more than the impression from the aroma. Coffee, roasted malt, dry fruit, hops and chocolate. Nice warming aftertaste. OldMrCrow (1198), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours very dark with a modest tan head and a roasty whole-wheat aroma and a faint whisper of smoke. The flavor is very malty, heavy on the dark toffee, some chocolate, little bit of plum, again some smoke. Overall the intensity of flavor and palate alike fall something short of the Baltic Porter moniker.
This is a pleasant enough beer, but not a great one. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2006 Bottle: Pours a nice black color, with a quickly dissipating tan head. Smell is of some chocolate and coffee with something else in the background, maybe raisin. Taste is interesting, a little coffee, a little chocolate and some more of that hidden fruit flavor. It’s a good brew, but not great. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Deep black with a small white ring of head. The aroma consists of licorice, nuts, raisin, and a faint presence of papery oxidization. As it warms up the chocolate becomes more apparent. The flavour profile is noticeably better than the aroma and as such you’ll find some toasted creamy malts with chocolate and raisiny plum notes. Doughy malt and anise is also apparent in small doses. Very good. ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA

Pour is oily dark brown almost black, with small tan colored head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is sweet, chcolate, coffee, caramel, malt. Palate is oily, resinous, full bodied. I really enjoyed this. anders37 (4747), Malmö, Sweden
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma. Roasted malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel and dark fruits. Dry hoppy finish. Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2006 Big-looking pour ... crude-oil-thick with a bubbly, airy tan head. Big sugary aroma, and just a whiff of whiskey. That whiskey-oak tantalizes at first, but otherwise this is fairly even-keeled roasty beer ... subtle raisin, molasses, cake sugar. Not as "big" as you’d expect from something claiming the "Baltic" title, but very good nonetheless. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 3, 2006 I’m not sure what everyone else finds so stunning. I found this beer disappointing. Somewhat flat and uninviting looking. The taste was straightforward. Its best attribute was a nice lingering finish. An ok porter, as a baltic, weak.
