Commercial Description:
Our imperial, Baltic-style porter is inspired by the strong, dark brews exported from Great Britain to Eastern Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. Rich and flavorful with upfront notes of chocolate, caramel and toffee.

Pours a nice deep dark brown with hint os ruby on the thin edges. Aromas of raisin toast with malt behind it. Flavors compliment the aromatic profile. Body a touch thin to my thinking but overall a very nice brew.

Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours deep burgundy with very little head. The aroma is good but good-er describes it better because of yummy fudge brownie, molasses and a touch of roast coming together in aromatic harmony. The taste is smooth and a bit thin while bringing up roast, modest fudge brownie, some caramel, spices, pumpernickel bread a bit of earthy oxidation and smooth D-Lish.

For a long time this was my go to dark beer. Great price and great beer. Well balanced, leaning toward the sweeter side, nice and creamy and sugary with a hint of roasted malts. Goes really well with smores.

Aroma is pretty weak...some hints of coffee and roasted malt, but little else. Flavor is similar. Overall, a poor representation of an Imp porter.
