| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Bottle, pours nice amber color, with a beige head. Nice sweet malts and light hop aromas. Taste is similar mostly malty with some pine hops. Yeast is slightly present, alcohol is well hidden. More of an english style than american. Good but nothing overwhelming, fairly drinkable. mcsquint (93), , Missouri, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass:
A - Golden amber in color. Nice 2 finger head with good retention. Ring lacing on glass.
S - Grassy with golden malt
T - Very malty for an IPA. More in the British tradition than the American style. Followed by nicely subdued hop flavors of grapefruit citrus and floral. Nice balance between malt and hops.
M - Medium and smooth. Just enough carbonation to make it work. Doesn’t finish as clean as some other IPA’s I’ve tried, but doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste either.
D - Very drinkable. This is an excellent entry level IPA for those of us who thought that the style had to be brimming with hops.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2009 Poured a beautiful Amber color, with a 3 finger frothy white head, which left beautiful lacing down the glass. Smell was good, but didnt get that big clean hoppy aroma I am accustomed to, still smelled some hops, but mainly it was sweet malt. taste was similar, got sweet malt taste up front, then finished with a little bitterness in the end, but not a great deal, although it did seem to hang around a little bit though. Mouthfeel was a little too thin for my liking.
Overall this is a pretty good IPA, not one I would reach for though over other IPAs at the same price, but definitely drinkable, just not real exciting.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange, with a moderate sized head. Aromas of citrus, and some pale malts. Very mellow aroma. Flavor is nothing crazy, some decent malt, ans a bit of hops in the finish. Hardly an IPA, but sessionable. j12601 (1349), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2009 On tap at the Beechtree. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. Earthy aromas with possibly a hint of mushroom? Toast, and a vague hop scent. Sweet and very thin, with some more of the toast coming through. Finishes with a light bitter and almost a metallic note. If I had this blind and at home I probably would have drain poured it. I was remarkably surprised that this was a Southampton brew. Very disappointing. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2009 12oz bottle from Pennsylvania. Copper-brown with a medium head. Buttery cracker and herbal malt aroma. Nutty and slick malt flavors with some mild woody hop flavor and mild bitterness. Light bodied. They claim this to be an English-West coast hybrid, but it doesn’t seem to know what it is at all. LtDan (522), Los Angeles County, California, USA

Bottle said bottled in Wilkes-Barre,PA...
Smelled like diaper juice (imagine taking a loaded diaper and ringing it out into a glass). Tasted like soapy water and bitter hops. Very thin in the mouth. Drain pour. Soonah (972), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Standard IPA on the pour. Clear copper with a barely off-white head that produced some average lacing. The aroma was mild citrus, light spice and thin floral hops. The flavor was fairly well balanced between malts and pine and floral hops. Average mouthfeel. Succinct finish. Not bad, just boring.
