Jan 14, 2007 A very good IPA. The hops/malt combo are good...the pour was good...everything about the beer was good and on target...just not great or above target.

Jan 11, 2007 hmm...rating #200 for this beer and rating #220 for me. slightly hazy with a nice lasting white head. good lacing. aroma nice toasted biscuit malt and orange hops. sweet toasted biscuit malt and nice bitter orange hops. bitter finish. medium body. very nice balanced IPA.

Jan 5, 2007 Not bad at all. Starts off with a decent balance of hops and malts, but tapers off quickly with a variety of hops. An interesting beer. Also had a littel citrusy flavor to it.

Dec 30, 2006 This is a hazy golden colored ale with a wispy, but lasting head. This my first SH brew to my knowledge. Spiciness dominates over floral in the hop department, with just enough malt to balance the beer out. Saratoga Springs does good job pasteurizing the many contract beers that are made there and this South Hampton IPA is one of the better brews I have ever tried from that brewery. The finish is earthy and woody, with a little bit of aged gouda.

Dec 29, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear orangey brass with a slim white head. Dough, grass and light malts. Bready orange peel and lemon quinine. Some drying. Medium carb, medium light. Nothing special.

Dec 28, 2006 Darkish golden in color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is nicely hopped... what there is of it, anyway, as it is a tad faint. Taste is bitter thin and watery with few of the floral charms of its aroma. $2/12oz

Dec 26, 2006 12 oz bottle. I thought this was a pretty good IPA. Lots of hops on the aroma and more in the flavor. Apricot like in the nose and more citrus and floral in the aroma. Just like a good IPA should be.

Dec 21, 2006 Pours a hazy gold into a shaker. Offwhite foamy head top hats and volcanos. Upfront sweet malts quickly overtaken by a strong and lasting bitter rind and alcohol burn finish.
