Light hoppy aroma, with some sweeter fruit and caramel. The flavor has a strangely off hop profile, some sweet malt and a dry finish. Not bad. swanmann (310), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 1, 2009 From the bottle this brew poured clear, rich amber orange with medium off white head, holding for about 2 minutes. It smells earthy and piny. Nice aspirin bitterness with a gentle sweetness, nice malty backbone. It’s got a fairly complex hop profile. Citrus, bitters and florals mingle nicely. It doesn’t kick you in the teeth. The palate is right on. Delicious! acearl (218), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 29, 2009 Confused, Wilkes Barre or Southampton, NY. Bottle said Wilkes Barre, rusty amber in color, more English than the America IPAs. More malty than hoppy, I guess a nice balance of malt and hop but not my fav IPA. I would try again though. mattmc1973 (313), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a clear amber with frothy off-white head. Aroma mostly of malt, very faint citrus pine hops. Very mild hop scent for an IPA. Taste of sweet malt, with mild bitterness. Tastes more like a pale ale, not an IPA. Mild/medium carbonation. Nothing to write home about. Birdiebeagle (815), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA

Has a good hoppy aroma of spruce, and spices. Has a light carbination. A nice mouthfeel. A subtle hoppiness but a solid bitter finish. Has a watery texture. A pretty good balance. Not overly hoppy but still good. A good aftertaste. Has a medium to light body. AmEricanbrew (2003), Almost, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Nice looking clear orange pour with your typical thinning white head, aroma is grassy and a bit citrusy, well-balanced flavor of hops and malt, some citrus again, finishes sweet and slightly dry...very good IPA. jmcguire1969 (149), Lafayette, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2009 This is clearly in the style of an English IPA...but it’s still pretty darn good. This one has a Hella malty impression right off the bat but it settles with the expected bitterness that’s expeded. The hops are muted/retarded/notQuiteRight but they have their place. Had this been billed as a classic UK IPA I would have raved. Shaka Tamasna Kata Frata Brada!!
