Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of spiced apple pie, sweet pilsner malt, and spicy yeast. Taste is the same as aroma but less prominent. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and a spicy yeasty finish. Very good.

Pours cloudy golden. Found it to be a slightly bitter while remaining verys weet. Yeasty with a nice taste close to apple cider, touch or orange. An excellent saison.

Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy golden, brief head. Fruity nose with herbal notes - coriander? Sweet and grainy, medium bodied with sugary orange flavour. Lightly yeasty with good bitterness. Well made and pleasant all around.

Bottle from SPH. Pours a cloudy orange with a pretty thick white head. Aroma is very inviting: lots of sour funk, sour fruits, and oak. Flavor is nice and sweet, which balances out the sour funky aroma quite nicely. Some light hops, apricot, lemon and citrus. Lively carbonation (not as overpowering as the previous rater claims). Light-bodied and crisp. Very nice, sweet, light, and enjoyable.

Bottle at the Publick House. Perhaps a somewhat old bottle, but even if so perhaps in a fridge the whole time...so hard to say. Aroma of wheat, light funk, citrus, other yellow-orange fruits, citrus peel, some floral hops, but the funk/sour character seemed to cover these up. In the mouth the hops come out more and exhibit spiciness to go along with an array of fruits, a sourness that seems to replace the funkiness of the aroma, and also a sweetness seeming to eminate from the wheaty malt. Only complaint is the carbonation level was incredibly high for a very long while slowly working my way through a couple glasses. Still, very nice, but with a bottle exhibiting a little less carbonation, I’d expect the rating to go above 4.

This saison pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy, yeasty and a touch wheaty. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and wheaty. The hops are spicy and a touch earthy. Interesting blend of flavors. The fruitiness is peaches and apricots with a hint of citrus, and then there is the spices and yeasts. Its kind of musty and barnyardy as well. The carbonation is a little aggressive, Nice beer. Sweet and fruity at the start and finishes very crisp and dry. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp, almost sharp, and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Yeasty banana-peach aroma with some cidery notes. More spice in the flavor, those fruits, spice, and all against a honey-sweet background. Good stuff.
