Yeasty, citrus, zesty, youghurt, spicy, fruity, milky, sweetness, sugar, white pepper. All the saison caracters, but it needs the crispness & freshness. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway

(From trade with the_epeeist) Pours a nice golden body, slightly hazy, topped by a big, white head. The aroma was a bit disappointing, not that it was bad, it was just not pronounced enough. There’s yeast, hops, cellar, and some sweetness, most the aromas one could wish for, but as said, too subtle. It has a nice, sweet and hoppy flavor with a good bitterness, resin, sugar and a farmhouse touch to it, finishing with a lasting bitterness. Nice, effervescent, medium to fullbodied mouthfeel. It’s 7.4% ABV is well hidden, making it a very drinkable beer, and it’s sure refreshing too. (071228) cab (864), Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 17, 2008 750ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a huge white head. Aroma is fresh, fruity, citrus and yeast. Flavor is fruity, bitter, acidulous and really refreshing. What a great treat, I really think those guys at Southampton could run up as one of my favorites. Only sampled three beers so far, but they’re all great. tarjei (1753), Bryne, Norway

A lovely Saison with wheath malt, yeast, spices, citrus, lots of hops and a nice, bitter finish. TURDFERGUSON (1603), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Bottle from Sam’s. Pours a hazy shade of piss yellow with a nice sized white head that lasts. Aroma is sweet and spicy, with a bit of lingering fruity tartness. Flavor is mild and fairly one-dimensional with a bit of citrus, clove, and sweet malt. Finish is dry with a lot carbonation throughout. Not the best aftertaste--some metal and cardboard. Not quite as complex or funky as the regular version but still a nice beer. No alcohol noted. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Pours a cloudy amber yellow color with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is doughy, sweet, a bit of lemon and cloves. Flavor is sugar sweet with some bread and grassy notes. Medium bodied, big carbonation. Reminded me more of a single than a farmhouse ale. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle. Nice dark golden pour. This stuff smelled excellent, it smelled much stronger and darker than it actually is. Lots of spices, but it works, and in the end, it’s a fairly light and refreshing ale. Very good.
