Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 24, 2007 Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with strong notes of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, spices among those coriander, and grass, leading to a dry grassy end. A interesting beer. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 9, 2008 Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy golden, brief head. Fruity nose with herbal notes - coriander? Sweet and grainy, medium bodied with sugary orange flavour. Lightly yeasty with good bitterness. Well made and pleasant all around. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 23, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of pineypower. Slightly hazy golden with a big, rough, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Medium-bodied with a huge and very lively and bubbly head. Lots of fruit, lots of yeast and then a crude, brutal and extremely unpleasant and unsophisticated bitterness in the finish. Sorry, but this came off bad after a nice start. 220607 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 8, 2007 Opaque peachy colour. Fresh spicy, peachy, dusty complex aroma. Very dry. Has a lot of musty attic character. Light spice and florals complement this. For me, the dryness is a bit astringent, the yeastiness too dominant and the carbonation too aggressive and distracting. joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 31, 2007 Bottle.
