This one was a letdown. It’s an approximation of Hoegaarden or a similar brew, but the proportions aren’t quite there. There is an overarching quality of breadiness that pervades all else, and an unfortunate finish that is reminiscent of fishiness. Definite coriander presence, but it was added either too much or too late. Not bad -- especially with food (crabcake sandwich), but I wasn’t eager to have another.

Apr 7, 2008 Draft. Slightly hazy orange color with a small head. Dough and orages on the nose. A citrus and bready flavor, almost like sourdough bread. Not much depth and somewhat refreshing, but I could have gone for more complexity.
