Ungstrup (14723), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 6, 2009 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrus and youghurt. And the flavor is sweet with notes of citrus and youghurt. j12601 (1149), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Nov 4, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with a large creamy white head. Grain, biscuit, some sort of noble hop smell. Grainy and biscuits with a little bit of cardboard and paper. Finishes up dry with a light crisp bitterness.
yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 3, 2009 Bottle. A slightly hazy orange beer with a minimal layer of off-white bubbles. There’s some fruity, citrusy aromas blending with sweet pale malts, but rather uninteresting and dull. Rather uninteresting flavor too, a slightly unpleasant citrus taste blends with a generic fruityness and wheat. Some bitterness as it rounds off, but not much. Medium body. An uninteresting beer that I bet slides down easily on a hot day. Maybe a bit on the sweet side though. 091103 skortila (2875), Bunnik, Netherlands Nov 3, 2009 Bottled. Aroma has citric hops, some wheat and yeast. Little hazy, yellow coloured beer with a lasting, white head. The taste is a little bitter, refreshing. Hoppy citrus there. Medium carbonation. Uninteresting and Southern Tier can do much better I think. chicagodri (1021), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 30, 2009 Pours yellow with a white head. Simple wheat beer. Aroma of wheat and light citrus. Decent flavor, sweet and a little wheat. Just average though, disappointing compared to their other brews. dornoy (678), Lyngby, Denmark Oct 30, 2009 Fast disappearing head on a dark golden body. Suprisingly well-balanced. Neither too heavy not too olight, this brew can be drunk at all times. Its taste;I think, will suit any occasion. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma was wheat, citrus and light fruit. Flavor was crisp and grainy with mild wheat, light citrus, yeast and some fruit with a thin body and has a slightly dry finish. Borresteijn (1343), Amstelveen, Netherlands Oct 25, 2009 On tap at Beer Temple. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of wheat and light spices like coriander, all very faint. Flavour is spicy, sweet, wheat, with a light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice beer to start the evening.
