| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 27, 2009 Pale gold with good, creamy white head / Musty nose of grain and honey / Light to medium body, creamy with moderate carbonation and good fruit, and good, dry finish / Perfumed, resinous flavors of grain, grass, lemon, and honey / Probably reflecting my general disinterest in wheats, I enjoy this more substantial one, reminiscent of a Dortmunder. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2009 12 oz bottle thanks to KornDogg. Poured pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of honey, light hops, and wheat. Tastes of lemon, grassy hops, honey sweetness and wheat. I actually thought it was pretty refreshing and drinkable. Good lawnmower beer. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2009 Single bottle purchase from the Orland Park, IL, Binny’s Beverage Depot - It pours a pale yellow body with a fizzy white head that supplies no lace. The aroma is lemony and grassy with some underlying wheat flakes. Spritzy mouthfeel. The grassy bitterness becomes more pronounced in the flavor. The finish is lightly tart with a firm grassy bitterness. Okay Summer drink. JFURYCAT (792), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 19, 2009 $2 bottle from Abe’s, Bethlehem, in case anyone actually wants this. The lemon drop flavor isn’t too bad and it figures prominently in the aftertaste but the other elements don’t seem to mend well with it. The grassy palate gives it some dryness but the hops and caramel malts seem like the wrong fit with this beer. smcolw (366), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2009 Very mild head, that settles to a single layer of bubbles. Cloudy although less than expected. Yellow gold color.
Reminds me of a cream ale in the smell. Light wheat aroma.
A touch of pepper; some wheat. The aftertaste quickly dies with some sourness. Decent body with a slightly high carbonation. Kinda sits between a bunch of styles--wheat, mild, cream ale; not mastering any. Rciesla (3760), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2009 Pours a pale golden body with a thin white head. Cereal notes and hints of grain and light wheat characteristics. Thin body with some caramel malt. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2009 Pours a clear, minimally hazy yellow/gold colour with a minimal, sudsy head that leaves some spotty lacing. The nose is bland, with corn, pale wheat, doughy bread, and a whisper of citrus. The flavour is about the same, grainy, and hardly any hop flavour at all, accept for a mild lemon zest. The emphasis here is really on the light bready flavours with an overtone on lemon. It does taste very fresh though, and it is extremely quaffable. I guess it achieves what it aims to do. The mouthfeel is slightly slick, perfectly carbonated and finishes almost as clean as Pilsner beers. I’ll be throwing quite a few of these back this summer it seems. Digging the pro-enviro concept! shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2009 12oz bottle from BOTW. Pours a light yellow color with some haze. Not a lot of head, but some tight white bubbles. Aroma is lightly citrus, mostly lemon. Nice easy to drink citrus flavor - the lemon makes this really refreshing and easy to drink. Great summer beer.
