| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Bottle. A nice clear golden straw color body with a short white head leaving some spotty lace , medium carbonation. Aroma of Light sweet malt , wheat , bread crust , and a hint of citrus . Flavor is very light , it has hints of tangy wheat malt , citrus , honey and faint grassy hops , very balanced . Light body with a crisp clean mouthfeel , slightly dry finish with very little aftertaste . I would think this to be VERY sessionable , I could drink 5 or 8 on a hot day . Not the best Pale Wheat I’ve had but a very good brew to try . KyotoLefty (1501), Kyoto, Japan

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Light golden yellow color. Head floats away quickly. Not all that impressive, to be truthful.
The smell is a wheat base, that is overpowered by a slight funk of something I can’t quite identify. It’s not altogether unpleasant, but not great. More wheat than pale.
The taste is a peppery first sip, which dominates the flavor. A strange pilsnery hop, which seems out of place here. Really sharp flavor. Interesting....
The feel is smooth and buttery. A bite on the back and at the swallow. More of a wheat beer than a pale ale, although it has aspects of both. A decent drink, nothing amazing. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
