| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2009 THOUGHTS: Decent what, but I was disappointed that it wasn’t bottle conditioned. It looked awful, but smelled and tasted pretty good and that’s what really matters, right? It seemed more peachy than citric to me, which is odd for a wheat beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, medium yellow with a very small head that fully diminished. The aroma was peachy and floral, with moderate to heavy yeast and some wheat. The initial flavor was acidic and slightly sour; while the finish was slightly bitter, sort of acidic and rather sour with a short duration. There was peach, wheat and yeast. The light to medium body was slightly syrupy then dry with tingly carbonation and a slightly chalky and lightly astringent finish.
