Jul 3, 2009 Poured a dark copper with no head. Aroma: peanuts and subtle malt and floral hops. Sweet pecan pie flavor too sweet and nutty for me but alcohol hidden well.

Jul 1, 2009 Almost a ruby color with a thick off-white head. Nose gives heavy sweet malt. Caramel flavor comes through well, with a ton of sweet malt. Not overly hoppy in any way. Good strong flavor.

Jun 28, 2009 22 oz. bottle from Total Wine. Pours brownish-orange with an off-white head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, toffee, and caramel. Clean piney hop flavor with a very balanced sweetness. Surprisingly thin and especially at 10%. As the name might suggest there is some alcohol burn in the back of the throat. A great beer.

Jun 24, 2009 A bottle tasted at Pikkulintu 23.6.2009. Sweet nose with some raisins. Pale beige head. Nice coppery colour. Soft syropy taste with some hints of raisins. Less than average hoppiness. Quite sweet .

Jun 21, 2009 Nice orange hue with a decent head. Surprisingly hoppy nose for a barley wine. Taste is mostly sweet with some traces of bitter. Strikes me more as an ASA than a barley wine.

Jun 17, 2009 Dull caramel orange, medium creamy khaki head. Hoppy metallic aroma. Caramel sweetness, lots of hops. Perfectly fine to drink, not bad for the price, but hardly stands out in the style. Sort of Arrogant-Bastard-ish.
