May 21, 2008 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet matly with strong notes of berries, medium notes of alcohol, and light notes of cinnamon and ginger. The falvor is sweet malty with notes of ginger and caramel as well as light notes of other spices, leading to a dry bitter finish.

May 9, 2007 Updated: Jun 26, 2007Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Nut brown, almost no head. Aroma of black currant and bubblegum. Sweet and thick with hard mouthfeel. Some syrup and salt mixes with black currant juice. Long piney bitterness. An unusual barley wine.

Mar 22, 2008 Lovely golden-brown colour. Cherwy, lightly toasty barley wine nose with hints of alcohol and caramel. Chewy - very English - with slightly grassy/mossy hoppiness and a long sticky finish. Scrape your tongue after tasting this one.

clear dark amber, wispy beige head, drops of lace, big sweet dark caramel malt aroma with earthy hops, creamy body, rich dark caramel flavor, sweet dark fruit character, light balancing bitterness adds some balance but lets the sweet fruit dominate, a bit of piney sweetness in the background, light warmth, upon warming the flavors meld really well,

May 1, 2007 (22oz bottle, thanks scraff) Small off-white head atop crystal clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape, caramel, some cherry, grapefruit. Taste is sweet, caramel, grape, grapefruit, light spruce. Full body with some stickiness and low carbonation.
