The aroma is sweet wtih strong notes of cherries, and light notes of malt - not me. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, hops, and quite a lot of cherries, leading to a slightly acidic, dry and woody finish. Weird - I don’t think the components fits together. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Pours an almost clear golden with a rough, off-white head. Spicy aroma with fruit and yeast. Medium body with a sweet fruitiness, but not exactly a berry-like fruitiness. Also there isn’t really much oak character at all - perhaps a wee whiff in the nose. 190908 yespr (12311), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 27, 2008Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy golden, no head. Artificial vague cherry jam aroma. Sweet and fruity with bold, hard mouthfeel - like chewing on plastic. Some marzipan and orangey hops. Medium bodied with severely sharp metallic edges and some late bitterness. Sticky, bold and clumsy with flavours that don’t go together at all and a malt structure from hell. A travesty of the saison style. fonefan (11737), VestJylland, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Golden with very slight haze. Footy, fecal aroma with a hint of cherr. Some dusty, footy taste with a very minor cherry accent. Some vague spice. Succeeds neither as a saison nor a fruit beer.
