Bomber. While I can’t imagine drinking the entire bottle, a glass is fairly yummy. Deep brown with a fast fading beige head. Aromas of vanilla extract and bourbon. Palate is soft and creamy. Taste is primarily vanilla but also toasted sugar and some coffee.

Dec 28, 2009 65 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Jet black, velvety tan head that leaves only lacing. Vanilla, caramel and sweet booze aroma. Thick in the mouth, sweet toffee and a creaminess to the fist sip. Turns to a faint bitterness at the back of the throat with a surprising dry finish.

Dec 27, 2009 22 oz. bottle from The Red House. Didn’t have that viscous pour I was looking for, or an off-white head. Nice black body on this beer. However, they got this specific aroma is amazing; straight up creme brulee aroma. Very aromatic stout. There is nothing else to mention in terms of aroma but that creme brulee aroma. Some might see this as artificial, but I am actually fairly impressed with this. Wow, a very sweet creme brulee flavor with a slight roast backing that kind of helps balance it out. This thing has a syrup-like palate. Damn this stout is different, but I kind of like it. I could see women who don’t generally like beer loving this. Very much a dessert stout. Fairly impressed with how they went outside the normal boundaries of a beer.

Dec 27, 2009 Bouteille de 660ml. Noire opaque surmontée d’une moyenne mousse capuccino offrant une bonne tenue. Arômes de caramel, de vanille, de cassonade, d’érable, de malt torréfié de crème et d’alcool. En bouche, crème brulée, malt torréfié, caramel, vanille, érable, cassonade, alcool et une finale amère. Bière dessert intéressante, mais très sucrée.

Dec 27, 2009 Bottle. Dark brown body with a medium tan head. Lots sweet caramel, sweet chocolate and burnt dark sugar in aroma. Light roasted as well. The flavour is sweet caramel with notes of vanilla, dark sugar, light coffee and light tobacco.

Dec 26, 2009 Kind of a novelty - I think the enjoyment of this beer is a bit on the superficial side - take away the brulee flavor and I’m not sure what you’d be left with. It is a nice, new kind of flavor, however.

Dec 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours black with a lacing light tan head. Aroma is pure butterscotch sauce and vanilla bean, also some birthday cake. I guess the point is...creme brulee. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Full bodied with medium carbonation.

Dec 26, 2009 660 ml bottle. Intense caramel and vanilla aroma. Clearly a crème brûlée beer. Quite a bit of espresso coffee in there as well. Tia Maria? The vanilla melds into the other flavours and it is the chocolate and the coffee that dominates the flavour. An extraordinarely beer. Dark malts are there but they hide well in the background behind the vanilla and the caramel. Hints of sweet licorice. Very enjoyable. A treat.

Dec 26, 2009 Bomber. Opaque with a small, fleeting foam. Big sweet aroma of vanilla-caramel candy. Flavor is the same, with only a light hint of wood in the finish. Medium-heavy body is smoothly carbonated with well-hidden abv, and is an easy drinker. Nice, and definitely got the sweetness of the creme brulee in there, but could use some dry, edgy roasted malt flavors to keep it in check a bit more.
