Strong cloudy golden amber coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of oak, vanilla, malt and alcohol - very nice. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong assertive malt and oak coming through with a pungent alcohol body and a bit of scotch in the nose. Aftertaste shows plentiful sweetness with a bit of honey, showing mostly malt, oak and vanilla, in addition to the yeast and alcohol. Overall, a good beer - perhaps a bit strong, but showing well and I will enjoy to sampled the other two batches! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased on 13-February-2009 at Whole Foods in Falls Church (Tyson’s Corner), Virginia on 28-February-2009 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Pours a clear bright pink color with almost no head whatsoever - just a few white bubbles. Aroma is sweet bubblegum. Flavor starts a bit bitter and dry, sweet grannysmith apples and a honeysweet syrup finish. Overall, just so so, not worth the price though.

2009-02-19. Golden amber body with a small beige head that fades. (3+) Aroma has a big alcohol startup, dry malt with a touch of herbal hops, touch muted overall. Flavour is simple, dryish malt, light alcohol, light bitterness, lingering alcoholic bitterness in the finish. Smooth average to medium bodied palate. (3+) Decent, bit simplistic. Just okay for the price. Bottle shared by Blankboy

Delilahs Vintage Tasting. Golden, with a white head. Subtle aroma of tropical fruit and yeast. Flavor is subtle too, with tropical fruit, sugar, wood, and coconut. Medium to heavy body. Good, but nothing really special, They have done better, why the big deal with this Special Bottle???
