Bottle (22oz). Shared by blankboy with me, garthicus, gregclow, jerc and mabel. Clear bubbly smallish frothy head. Boozy aroma, peaches & cereal grain, dry herbal bitterness way, way in the back. Taste - quite fruity, strong as hell, bitter boozy finish. Average slick body, lively mouthfeel, ultimately it’s "strong" - maybe age would mellow it. MAYBE.

Shared by Blankboy with the TO crew. Appearance: Light copper with a very very small head. Zero visible carbonation. Aroma: Definite wood, cherry, fruits, malt and a little banana. Flavour: Alcohol, malt, wood, spices, bitter sweet finish. Quite sweet, honey too. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a bright orange-red hue, barely carbonated and with no head. The aroma is quite restrained, with little to hint at what lurks. The flavor on the other hand is nice and full ... I get caramel, pineapple, brown sugar. Quite delicious. (#3510, 2/17/2009)

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, caramellish aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweetish spicy with some woody accents. Very sweet with a subdued bitterness. Unusual but interesting. 090209

22 oz bottle. Clear topaz with white foamy edges. Nose is honey, ginger, perfume and butterscotch. Body like cough syrup, some carb. Taste is buttery pineapple and dried apricot. Yeasty and cheesy with a dry chalky finish. Not so good.

Aroma of oak and bourbon. Not much head. Malty sweetness with first taste. Fruity. Second taste: very sweet. I can taste the alcohol. I’ve seen the ratings on this baby start high and end low...but this is a nice beer. Maybe not deserving of the fancy box packaging. . .doesn’t have a terribly complex body. But it is not bad.

Deep orange body that pours thickly into the glass raising a small, fleeting, white head. Fruity aroma with honey and tea. Sweet and smooth Just a small touch of hops in the flavor but not much bitterness. The small amount of dryness is quickly overcome by the malty sweetness. The alcohol is well hidden.
