Bottle bought in Wi. last May. Oak aroma and heavy sweet caramel little too much. Dark red body with beige head. Flavor is thick sweet caramel and lots of alcohol presence. Thick bodyie brew. Man been waiting for the series 3 but don’t really know after first two.

Clear brown color, small white head. Subtle sweet malty scent. Salty, malty, cream, alcohol, bitter taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Bottle. Rusty and rosy, with a nice poofy head and a big alcoholic nose. Ticky syrupy drinker, this one, with the strong essence of candied sugar the predominate feature. Kept the cold away! (#3711, 10/24/2009)

dark amber, thin white head, aroma of vanilla and caramel. Taste is intense at first then mellows out to a good vanilla finish and possibly coconut flavor. Strong smokey malty flavor at first, which is something I am unsure of. But I moderately like this one.

Bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours hazy golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose and taste is heavy oaky. Very sweet with hints of caramel. Full bodied. Quite one dimensional

Deep amber pour with a small off-white head. Caramel, honey, vanilla aromas with a pretty similar taste. Something a little wierd in there that I’m not really too keen on.... perhaps it’s the barrel-aged aspect. Well-hidden alcohol.

Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Strong oak aroma, tannin and vanilla, with some bready and caramel malt. Sweet caramel flavour with strong oak notes, and a medium bitter finish. Too sweet

From a bottle poured a dark amber color with a small head. Nice strong malty sweet flavor with a lingering finish.
