Pours golden amber color with a small amount of head. Medium bodied. On the aroma I get hops, floral citrus aroma and a hint of the bitterness to come. On the palate you get hops up front, a bit of bitterness to finish and a subtle citrus flavor in there as well. Excellent blend. One of my favorite if not my favorite Southern Tier brew.

Beautiful pour, crystal clear orange gold with a thick, creamy white head. Aroma is nicely hopped of pine and some earthy notes. Flavor is bitter and sweet but with an astringency and metallic bite. Palate is good but with those off flavors...Overall it could be much better but its a decent sipper. Got better towards the end and metallic notes were gone.

Draft at BEVERIDGE PLACE BODACIOUS BEVERAGES BREWFEST ’09. Pours gold with white head. Floral nose with hints of some citrus fruit and something tropical (pineapple?). Incredibly balanced double IPA with a nice finish.

Dark coppery gold. Big hoppy aroma. Nose is stuffed up and still smelling powerful. Tropical fruit, pineapple, and a bit earthy too. My only hesitation is that it isn’t bright enough, it doesn’t jump out of the glass. However, it is solid hoplover beer. Nothing to argue with. The hop pocket is herbal, very herbal, minty. Very good quaffable palate, and surprisingly balanced. Honest hop goodness, not hitting me over the head with hops but featuring them prominently. Not transcendent but more like a salt of the earth 2IPA.

Bottle thanks to GMCC2181. Pours a gold with off-white head. Aroma of very nice hoppiness, pine and citrus. Flavor is malty, hoppy, citrus, nice bitter. Mouth feel is heavy body with medium - high carbonation. Overall, pretty good shit!

650 ml bottle from a KW group private order. pours light opper/golden, slightly hazy, with a mid sized white head and great lace. big hop nose with some light honey and light pale malts. big hops flavour with just enough malt to hold it together. big in the mouth. not overly complex. just a straight forward hop bomb of a IIPA. better then the sum of its parts.

Was very eager to try this since I am a big fan of unearthly. This beer really calms down some of the assultive qualities of unearthy while still giving a complex drinking expereince. First off it is a great looking beer with its yellow/orange color and gorgous head that lasts till the bottom of the glass. The smell was orange with a bit of the pine in the background. flavor was much of the same with just enough bitterness to tease you. A must try for any southern tier fan.
