Bottle from Sammy, thanks! Orange blonde color. Tangerine, pineapple and oily hops in the aroma. Oily hopbitter flavor with loads of peach, mango, tangerine, grapefruit and lychee. Long woody, alcoholic finish. Good one!

Bottle from j12601, thanks yet again Jay. Poured a light orange-copper color with an inch thick, dense off-white head that slowly faded to a thin layer and left some rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus (grapefruit, orange, tangerine) with some moderately leafy, resiny hops, a light pine spiciness, and some light caramel. Smooth, moderately sweet entry with some light caramel and and some bright citrus fruit (orange, grapefruit, and tangerine) paired with a moderately bitter, floral hoppiness with some light undertones of pine and soft citrus on the finish that lingered a bit. Soft carbonation and full mouthfeel. Overall, a departure from the dry, resiny west coast-style IPA’s, but I like the fruitiness and drinkability, especially at 10.5%.

The husband says this is so much better on tap, but I loved it. Very very nicely balanced tangerine, grapefruit, carmel, toffee, perfume bitterness, and some starfruit. Delicioso. Though I have a suspicion that the reason no one has said much in their ratings is that the alcohol kicked their ass, as it did mine.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NYC. Clear golden colour, thin white head with a clinging lace. Sweet fruits, fruit gums, gummy bears in the aroma. Some hints of citrus in the flavour, followed buy hops. Very smooth texture to the beer, toffee finish. A very drinkable ale.

Big thanks to abcfan for the bomber. Pours a deep golden hue, with a neat little head. Aroma more like a barley wine, subdued hops but were still pungent enough to make you think it was an IPA. Pretty decent mouthfeel. Nice malty flavor that balances out the hops. Bitterness is clean, leaning more towards the flavor than harsh bitterness. Meh, I could take or leave this one.

From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice blend of hoppyness and malt, with a lingering finish.
