From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice blend of hoppyness and malt, with a lingering finish.

excellent brew. Dry mouthfeel. Pours a hazy brownish orange. Big hops from start to finish. This is the way a true IPA should taste.

Draught at Ginger Man, NYC. I’m amazed this beer doesn’t score higher. This maybe sacrilege but it could go head to head with Pliny... fits nicely between the Younger and the Elder... but remindes me more of the elder. Copper with a quickly thinning white head. Smells resiny and citrusy. Nice medium body with a slightly oily feel, nice and hoppy but very well balanced. Liquid Heaven.

Thanks iowaherkeye for sharing this brew with a piny hop aroma that pours bright yellow. Medium body with earthy, woody flavors over sweet malt base. Next there is a blunt astrigency followed by latent bitter punch in finish.
