| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Feb 28, 2009 aroma is very light hops. appearance is similarly subtle: straw yellow. flavor is no where near unearthly’s levels, very mellow. hop attack comes late, and displays itself in only the most tasteful, organic and earthy presence possible. nothing like the wild overwhelming bitterness offered by the two ’parents’ of this special brew. in every way possible, this is mellow and easy going, nothing at all like what i imagined. still a hop bomb by most standards, this is classy amongst southern tier’s often overstated offerings. grandet (486), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA

Golden color pour with a nice white head. Aroma is of lots of hops, but not fresh hops. Taste is a ton of hops(once again not fresh). This beed was wuite tasty, seemed to have alittle tasrtness to it. Very good. bubbleflubber (903), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Nice tasty brew here. Pours hazy golden into the glass with a pillowy head that leaves great soapy lace down the glass. Musty earthen hops to the nose. Nice citrus, grapefruit, pine and bitter flavors interwoven. The malt and hops balance well for a "big brew", and the finish is a nice lasting pepper toward the side and back-palates, with a slightly retentive alcohol burn. Comes together very well, and I thought it was a good offering. zappafan99 (463), Ascension Island

Sticky spicy flavor with some grassy notes. Floral aroma. Finish is a stinging bitterness. This is some pungent bitter hoppiness. Caramel sweetness mid palate. Not my favorite hop profile honestly. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Bomber. Lightly hazed gold with a big, thick, yellow tinged head that gets rocky with a quickness. Very fresh, strong citrus nose, orange and mild pink grapefruit, some peach and light caramel. Flavor is peachy and lightly resinous pine, somewhat perfumey. The bitter is blunt but strong, and leaves the mouth aching a bit. Dries up a bit late. Excellent fluffy lacing. Good stuff!
