Sweet orange, honey, nectar, and caramel aroma. the flavor is heavily malty and sweet, with a very floral, soft hop flavor. Finishes sweet, with a light bitterness. Leaning too heavily on malt sweetness in the flavor profile for me. Pleasing aromatics and floral flavors up front, but the lack of any assertive bitterness left me wanting something else by the end of the glass halfonit (476), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Even easier drinking than Un*Earthly. The aroma is a bit less concentrated and fruity. The flavor is almost lighter, but retains that creamy quality that makes Earthly so nice. Very balanced and unified flavors, where hops are absolutely on par with the fruit undertones. acearl (218), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA

Dark orange peel, creamy white long laced head. Citrus nose, label lists 10 kinds of hops but there is a balance and the after with slight dry then Bitter lasting after taste. Not much evidence of the 10.5% alcohol. nbutler11 (769), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours a dark copper color with a beige head. Smells and tastes of agressive hops, flour, grapefruit rind, and creamy malt. Leaves a note of caramel at the back of the palate. Chewy and delicious. stankenk (130), Maplewood, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Pours a clear gold with a very thick white head. The nose has a strong earthy and floral bitterness to it with some wheat and citrus notes. Comes across the palate with earthy and floral hops in front moving into a a lot of citrus notes on the back. It has nice lingering after taste to complete the beer.

This is a great IIPA, aroma is somewhat subdued with more malt and bread than strong hops, but the flavor is very well balanced between the hops and malt. Not too bitter, which is something I like. Complex, I pick up different things as it warms. I could drink this all night.
