Pours a nice orange color with a great finger’s width white head. Smell is citrus hops and malt. Flavor is amazing. Nice hop characteristics throughout with almost no bitterness. Very smooth for a 10.5%. The malt sweetness is what makes this one though. The hops and malt balance is near perfect and it tastes close to heaven. Great beer.

Bottled - tasted blind. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet matly with light notes of spices and fruit - especially oranges. The falvor is sweet matly with fruity notes of peaches, leading to a dry bitter finish.

From bottle #19 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours cloudy golden orange with lacing white head. Solid hoppy and spiced aroma. Spiced and frity hoppy flavour. Smooth and nice caramel malty with a light yeasty note. Warming finish with a lingering spice finish and solid hoppy. Nice and flavourful yet smooth.

#19 Bottle [Sk8viking great American blind tasting] Average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Cloudy copper like color. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, citrus, apricot. Over the palate came mild toffee and peach and a hint of biscuit like notes as well. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry smooth and almost creamy texture. Moderated sweet flavor with good counter bitterness. Lingering dry bitter texture. 7 / 3 / 8 / 3 / 15 = 3.6

22oz bottle: Sunrise amber with an impressive two finger head that clings all the way down. Muted nose of grapefruit and orange rind, followed by lighter notes of perfume and rose. Big, creamy mouthfeel delivers shots of caramel sweetness and zesty lemon and orange. Balanced and drinkable, this is a nice blend. I believe the Hoppe I tried was a little fresher and thus more enticing. The hops seem a little to heavy here, but no bottling date makes it hard to tell if it is the brew or the shelf life. Even so, another solid beer for Souther Tier. Oh, and #900, woot.

Copper, clear with a medium sized bone colored head. Aroma is packed with hops and some sweetness. Flavor is fun, fun. Sweet at first then a bit of citrus, then lots of bitterness. An interesting beast for sure.

Golden-orange in colour, large off-white coloured head, excellent retention, good lacing. The aroma is very hoppy, quite green, pine, cedar, citrus, caramel malt sweetness. The flavour is moderately sweet, some pink grapefruit citrus, moderate bitterness, some caramel. Sticky and very hoppy mouthfeel, medium/large body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy, sweet.

It really seems like they ran out of ideas when they made this one. Its good but it falls into the same-old, same-old category when it comes to DIPA’s. Then there is that damn cap....

650ml bottle from IPFreely, thanks Tim.

Bomber courtesy of hogtown harry- pours a pale golden hue. Good head and lacing. Nose- earthy smelling with some fruits. Taste- pale malts are really present. Hop flavour is a mix of pine and some tropical fruits. Might be past its prime as I really love Unearthly and Hoppe on their own. The mix is like a poor sequel. More malt flavour than expected. Carbonation is medium and drinkability is good. Very little hotness present given high abv.
