| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Bottle: Shiny gold, light white head and nice lacing. Nose of fresh grapefruit, simcoe and amarillo, pleasant toffee and pine notes as well. The flavor is smooth, lots of dough and bitter hops, sweet herbal hops mix-in as well. Creamy mouthfeel, finish is like after I shove my nose into a bag of fresh hops. Cascade maybe? Yum! MaltOMeal (653), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 22 oz bomber. Pours a clear, pale amber with a thin off-white head which dissipated quickly. The smell was citrus and piny hops. The taste while having sweetness of citrus and pine, was almost overwhelmed by fresh hops infusion. Mouthfeel was a fresh hops feel, yet with a bittersweet aftertaste found from dry hops. Hmmm. Interesting. sinkr (241), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Bomber->snifter, circa 43F. Pours a small, diminishing head with fair lacing atop a clear yellow body. There is aroma of caramel, heavy amount of hops, and perhaps some perfume+citrus and a cheesy yeast smell. The body is medium, oily with soft carbonation and a bitter finish.

Note: have a good opener on this; the plastic atop the bottle is not pliable does not come off easily, even with a knife. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Clearer than expected, thick with struggling bubbles feeding a milky head. Resinous floral orange and grapefruit jelly bean aroma. Thick and smooth on the palate. This beer must be 1/2 hop resin by weight. Orange, peach, grapefruit hibiscus hop flavor. Relatively low bitterness. Hidden alcohol. Very nice. Strangely I wasn’t in love with either the Hoppe or UnEarthly but this really comes together. Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2008 not sure if this is a true 2IPA as it is just not bitter enough, However the flavor is all about hops, the citrus and grapefruit flavor is dominant over all else, aroma is likewise. great head and lacing. This is the easiest drinking 2IPA I have ever had. bdigital (591), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Bottle: Courtesy of cmr1517. Thanks for the share on this. Light peach color pour with a massive white head. Ridiculous amounts of lacing spread like a spider’s web on the walls of the vessel. Big mango-peach aroma with a nice balance of floral and piney hops. Very creamy mouth feel that has that amazing bittering hop linger throughout that just coats the inside of my mouth, in fact I think I have quite a bit of lacing on my tongue. Floral and citrus hops lead the transition to a piney BANG! Very good IIPA...I just wish I could get this stuff around here on a consistent basis. Southern Tier has not disappointed me yet. k4df4l (154), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 6, 2008 Bottle - pours a hazy deep golden color with a half inch of fluffy foam that hangs in for a good while. Aroma is fruity and floral..very reminiscent of fruity pebbles. Flavor, lets just say malt covered hop pop with layers of wheat bready goodness. Medium body and carbonation. Light alcohol present with a clean finish. cbkschubert (2017), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
