Taste is similar, peachy hoppy but sweet and perhaps unbalanced on the sweet side, but incredibly tasty. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 2, 2008 22 oz. bottle, from slob - thanks man! Pours a hazy dark orange-amber with a fluffy beige head that leaves nice lacing. Hop dominant aroma, citrus, grassy notes, dusty florals, light grainy malt notes and a grapefruit finish. Toasy malts in the flavor orange juice, resiny hops, dusty, grapefruit rind, bit of spiciness and earth in the finish. It gets more earthy as it warms. Full body with smooth and gentle carbonation. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Deep golden, almost no head. Rich perfumy grapefruity hop aroma. Really sweet. The well sized but sticky body is perfectly laquered with layer upon layer of massive aromatic hoppiness. A hop bomb with a beautiful surface hiding a less than perfect inside. Very bitter finish. Raw and simple perhaps, but forgiven. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy bronze colour with a minimal white foam. Fresh hoppy aroma grapefruit, minerals and resin with fresh exotic fruits such as starfruit, guava and pine-apples. Feels medium-bodied despite the the high gravity with a creamy mouthfeel. Big fruity flavour of pine-needles, sweet red apples, pine-apples, cantaloupe and nectarines. Long fruity, yet quite dry finish of resin, mango, blood oranges, and resin. Really tasty stuff! rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 26, 2008 The cap issue has been beaten to death, still I feel the need to mention how obnoxious that wax was. Ugh.
Slightly hazy gold body, craggy white head. The nose is pine, caramel and alcohol up front. Further sniffification reveals cotton candy, mango, mint, fresh cut grass straight out of middle-school gym. The alcohol grows the deeper in I breathe, eventually rising to the point where I’m slightly concerned about the hair in my nose. If I had to boil all that down to one word it would be "juicy." Flavor is smooth malt immediately overtaken by hops. Those hops range from the aforementioned mint and grass to pine. More of that cotton candy malt comes through although it is nowhere near as prominent as what I get from Numbskull or Dreadnaught. Citrus (and citrus rind) takes over as it gets further down my tongue. The finish is piney mint & buttery malt (not in a diacetyl way) with a solid underpinning of alcohol. A very nice offering, though the alcohol is a tad harsh as the bottle goes on. Body to die for - this is what I remember the best Dreadnaught I’ve ever had feeling like.
