Easily the toughest cap I’ve ever removed. The wax is like a plate of armor! Once opened, the pour is a clear, glowing tangerine-gold. A frothy, off-white head leaves thick, solid rings of lacing behind on the glass. A big nose of grapefruit, grass and pine explodes from a lightly toasted, buttery caramel malt base. There is a faint, smoothing graininess to the aroma as well, which serves to bridge the gap between the hops and malts quite nicely. Flavors are as bright and fresh as they come. Orange chiffon, bitter grapefruit, light toffee, and dry grass all make themselves known. A touch of resinous pine joins the party, adding its signature mouth puckering bitterness. Perhaps the most unique thing about this excellent brew is its relatively light, refreshing body. This goes down as easy as any Imperial IPA that I can recall, yet it weighs in at a whopping 10.5% ABV! Dangerously good, this one bests its formidable big brother, the UnEarthly, for its drinkability and balance. Great beer! Drink it fresh.

Bomber. Nice red/orange color. Small head. Nice lacing. Smell of hops and citrus. Taste is just like the smell, hops and citrus. Sweet after taste. Smooth. Really easy to drink. Nice thickness to it. This beer is simple but really good . Wax sucks!

Bottle pours a slightly hazu light coppery yellow with a very large and lasting sandy colored head. Lots of clumpy lacing. HUGE grapefruit and slight pine aroma. Nails exactly what i think of and hope for when I open a fresh IPA. Flavor was not quite up to the expectation that was just set,. A little papery and bitter grassy. Nice and full hoppyness with what seemd like a good malt backbone to balance. One of the dozen or so DIPAs that I consider what they should be like. Thanks to Jake65 for sharing this one,

Bottle. WOW! I loves me some hops!!!!!! Orangish color, huge hop aroma and flavor. I like Hoppe and love Unearthly. I was not sure what to expect with Gemini, it is a great combination beer. It has a deep hop flavor, not just a hop bitterness monster. BUT, the wax covering over the cap SUCKS!!!!!!! You have to fight to remove it, even with a knife.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange/amber with a small off-white head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and piney hops, light caramel, and some grapefruit. Flavor is full bodied with caramel malt, grapefruit, fruity and piney hops with a mild bitterness. Nicely balanced with a dry and bitter finish. Another stellar beer from st

Bomber. Pours golden orange with fluffy white head. Good lacing. Aroma hops, pine and citrus. Flavor is hops, pine and a little citrus. Nicely balance with a nice bitter finish. Nice double that hides alcohol well. The mixing of the 2 beers provides a nice balance.

Thick, with a small head that sticks around. Flavor comes off as mixed as the ingredients, but the bitterness lingers a bit too long. Good hoppy character.
