Amazing hop aroma and much cleaner palate than Unearlthy, definately more balanced. Nice creamy texture which allows a small amount of bite from the hops to emerge. Subtle floral and recognizable fruit flavors. A finish that begs for more.

A big fullfledged IIPA. Rich light golden, clear with a healthy light creamy tan head. The nose is rich with hops and a nice sweetness. Light malt with a bit of depth, countered by strong hop presence. Citrusy, vibrant, though perhaps a bit past prime. Creamy. Orange creamsicle? Full rich mouthfeel. a bit viscous, but not too big for it’s britches. The flavors are nice. Big sweetness, rich and full for an IIPA with a big crisp hop bite. Lingering fruit, a tasty combo. This probably wasnted even as fresh as it could be!

Bottle: Pours a bright copper orange with a nice sandy head. Open this bottle and stand back... huge aroma of citrus and grapefruit hoppiness. Taste is deep and sweet with fruity hops and bits of caramel. Big taste and aroma, all the pieces fit together well. Thanks to Slob for sending this my way.

Pours a copperish amber with a very nice off white head. Aroma is loaded with hoppish charateristics of pine, citrus, and earthiness. Flavor is an explosion of hops tempered with the sweetness of caramel malt and finishes with a big bold deposit of hops on the palate.

First off, I almost downgraded this one for the difficult to remove wax top. Turns out it was worth the effort. Pours a semi clear copper with a smallish white head and little lacing. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, toffee and peach. Flavor is initially quite astringent and bitter on the tongue but gets more rounded as it sits on the tongue. Bitter citrus zest, pine, bready malt and fruity. Interesting. Fairly rich and creamy texture. Medium bodied.

Thanks to TheRealBastard for sending this, despite the fun I had with the wax cap. That sucker wasn’t melting off very quickly when I took a lighter to it. Pours an orange gold with a white head, small amounts of it stick around till the end. Aroma of pine, orange, grass, with a bit of sugar, toffee and breadcrust. Well rounded taste of brown sugar and caramel malt flavors, orange/ citrus hop flavor, a bit of floral and grass. Finish turns a bit nutty with a small amount of grapefruit, toast, and a moderate lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is not as creamy as I was hoping for, but it’s pretty nice, big bodied but not heavy and quite drinkable for the ABV. However, I can’t help but feel that the flavor profile is rather unremarkable. It’s a mix that works, sure, but there just isn’t enough to make this beer stand out as something really worth seeking.

Southern Tier mixed two of their best beers and made one delicious beer. Hazy amber color with thin head. Nose is full of citrus hops. Flavor was citrus and grassy hops balanced by caramel malts. It had the syrupy, stickiness of UnEarthly and the smoothness of Hoppe. A great blend of beers that delivers a great taste and kick.

shared w/ and courtesy of dpjuart. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a tiny white head that disappeared pretty quickly. A powerful grassy grapefruit nose with a slight hint of dank nugs. Sweet honey and flower taste with a murky bitterness. A nice thickness in the mouth. Overall, a very solid beer.
