Strong pour reveals a nice head that sticks around and laces. Aroma is fruity and nice, with a good bitter hint from the amarillo. The flavor is glorious fresh hop, nice and fruity with just the right amount of bitterness. The sweetness had me wondering what they used for body, and I see on the bottle they used two kinds of wheat malt, which makes this really smooth. Just a dash below Hopslam.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Hoppy body with hints of citrus, pine and etoh latent fruit. Sweeter malt character and then more hoppy grass y pine finish. Worst part is figuring out how to get that dam wax off. Great stuff.

Pours a one finger cream head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Piney nose. Flavor is mellower than Un*Earthly - light sweet grapefruit. Very mild bitter aftertaste. A summer beer. High ABV totally hidden. The brewer has mixed their Hoppe and Un*Earthly to create this. $8.95 for a 22oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

(Rating #2542)
