| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is like a fresh picked hop cone. Pours a golden yello with a pretty small head. Taste is mostly hops, light malt presence. Very smooth and drinkable. I love the smell of this one. I should have been drinking this while picking the hops. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2009 12 oz bottle experienced on a camping trip with Adrian910ss. Pours a clear golden orange colour with a white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, lemon, grass. Flavor is the same as the aroma. A bit of a watery palate. AndyReynolds (288), Wilder, Kentucky, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Bottle at Dayton Ale Fest. Pours a light orange with this white head. Aroma is very "wet hop"with barley any malt pressence there at all. Notes of fresh pine, grass, citrus, and grapefruit stand out. On the palate, it is thin and watery. The flavor is really watered down. It brings out a bit of a caramel malt backbone, but not much. It finishes rather refreshing. I was a little disappointed of in this beer. The aroma was awesome, but on the palate it was pretty weak. williamherbert (475), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Phenomenal "wet hop" aroma. Pine sap and spruce. Grassy with a sweet citrus (orange/grapefruit). Fresh cat piss! Bready rye-like and caramel malts. The appearance is not incredible. Healthy white head, though short-lived. Clear golden yellow color. Transparent. The flavor is a bready, sweet and roasted caramel malt backbone. Bitter piney hops come afterward. Beautifully balanced. Hops run the gamut from estery to bitter oak. Feels gritty but not too thick. A nice bite at the swallow. It’s a terrifically balanced, sweet and bitter brew. A helluva good autumn beer. WakeandBake (436), Greenville, Michigan, USA
