Commercial Description:
Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ‘round.

12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours clear gold with a small white head that leaves some light lacing behind. Hoppy aroma with citrus, grass, pine, and honey. The flavor follows suit, hoppy, earthy, citrusy, and bitter. Light bodied, well-balanced, and crisp. Straightforward, excellent example of the style.

Botella. Golden colour, medium nice steady white ehad. Pleasant hoppy sweet fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel indeed. Very pleasant and refreshing flavour: some exotic fruits, good hoppiness, pleasant sweetness, bit of pine and a good fruity bit dry finish.

THOUGHTS: Not at all what I was expecting. It really didn’t seem at all like an ESB. More like a British pale ale, but just slightly British at that. Not an awful beer, but it really missed the mark. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, light gold with barely any head that left barely fair lacing. The aroma was light bread, caramel and biscuit; moderate to heavy pine, grapefruit and lemon hops; slight honey; and apricot. The initial flavor was sweet, slightly bitter and a little acidic; while the finish was acidic and bitter with a fairly long duration. It was nice but a little watery. There was light caramel malt, light bread and biscuit, lemony, piney hops, some yeast, metallic hops and perfumy hops. The light to medium body leaned more to the light side and was a little syrupy and then fairly dry with fizzy carbonation and a metallic and lightly dry finish.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours clear, dark golden with a fine, creamy, white head. Lovely hoppy aroma. Lots of grapefruit, light piney, peach and oranges. Medium carbonation, finde creamy mouthfeel. Light dryness. Flavour starts with a lots of fat maltiness, rather sweet, some caramel. Then a lots of grapefruity, resiny hops. Light oranges and lots of dryness in the rather long finish. Nice.
