Pours a darker amber that is very cloudy. On the nose I get a sweet smell just like a wheat beer should be. Wheat, lemon, straw feel going on. Light to a more medium bodied beer. Another fun creation of Southern Tier. On the palate I get lemon, wheat and a nice bit of candied sweetness there. Refreshing beer even with the higher abv. Definitely recommended it to anyone sometime.

Dec 23, 2009 Bottle. Pine hops and sweet apricot/banana aroma. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Sweet apricot, banana, apple and wheat malt flavor - very sweet - a bit too much for me.

Dec 7, 2009 Bottle@Home. Aroma of citrus with some hints of banana and caramel. Light hazy, pale yellow colour, off-white head, few lace. Very sweet, pretty bitter, citrus, hints of banana, grapefruit and caramel. Sticky mouth feel. Nice experiment, but it does not compete. Like a mix between Weizen and Witbier with wrong hops and a shitload of alcohol.

Nov 26, 2009 Sneaking away from Thanksgiving to rate a beer. Hi, my name is Nick and I’m a ratebeerholic...and an alcoholic, while we’re at it. Bomber from Jason’s in Ellicott City, MD. Pours a cloudy golden-straw color with a fairly large long-lasting white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, banana, citrus, and spice. Flavor is very nice and only mildly sweet with wheat, yeast, citrus and floral hops, banana, clove, and loads of spices on the finish. Medium-full body with a tingly, spicy mouthfeel. Overall a great beer. Interesting.

Nov 9, 2009 22oz bottle, cloudy yellow honey hue, with a thick white head, nice yeasty, spicy fruity nose of banana, ripe apple, clementine peel esters, with a faint nutmeg, cinnamon accent, and some earthy honeyed wheat, pale malts, within a citrusy, lemon, grapefruit peel aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, honeyish pale, wheat malt, fruity, spicy character with some vanilla, clove, cinnamon spiciness, with some banana, lemon, grapefruit peel, faint lemongrass notes, and a mild flowery hop grassy, leafy accent, leading towards a warming, citrusy, hop leafy bitterness finish.
