Commercial Description:
Pour Hop Sun Summer Wheat Beer into a pint glass, give it a long whiff and you'll realize that this isn't your average wheat beer. Filtered to a golden clarity and dry-hopped to perfection, Hop Sun is a fantastic session ale in which flavors of wheat, barley and hops co-mingle to a refreshing and zesty conclusion. Hints of lemon and sweet malts waft to the fore as a touch of bitterness contributes to Hop Sun's bright finish. Enjoy Hop Sun all summer long as a perfect balance to your outdoor recreation. Summer never tasted so good.

Bottle courtesy of funknmilla. Pours gold with a decent white head. Smells of perfume, flowers, sweet wheat, citrus. Tastes of sweet wheat, touches of citrus, some sweet hints and an earthy finish. Nice!

12 oz bottle...dark straw with small soapy off-white head...on a deep inhale...some wheat present...a mild sweet hoppy aroma...very very pleasant...zingy fresh and refreshing body...light citrus peel flavors....not much clove at all...quite tasty, body is refreshing as well

12 oz bottle from a trade with dkachur. pours golden with an everlasting white head. aromas are all citrus hops. flavours are more like a wheat ale but with hops on the finish. almost no bitterness suggests very late hop addition by southern tier in brew. enjoyable but forgetable, even if it is my highest rated wheat ale.

Draft: Had this on tap @ The Great American Ballpark in Cincy...pour was a light golden color with a medium-sized white head and considerable lacing. Aroma of pale malts, wheat, some light citrus and a very pleasant floral hop backbone. Unbelievably crisp and refreshing, especially given how hot it was...Flavor consisted of some light wheat with a bit of citrus and floral hops on the finish. A nice, quaffable brew that reminds of Gumballhead.

Bottle. This is a great summer ale. Wonderfully hoppy, while also light and refreshing. This is not your typical wheat beer, more hops than most. Has a great hoppy aroma with lots of pine. Flavor is hoppy bitterness, wheat, with sweet malt and lemon in the background. Light bodied and easy to drink. Nice session beer.

Clear golden and an average head. Pretty good floral and piney hop aroma. Just an average bitterness which diminishes quickly. A beer which is above average but below greatness. Very nice to have but probably won’t inhabit my fridge anytime soon.
