Thanks to Dickinson beer for the brew! Refreshing. mtoast (316), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

A bit of citrus in the nose, with lemon zest coming forward in the mouth, balanced by a bit of cinnamon--though just a hint--and with a lightly hopped finish. A pleasant beer, with more warming characteristics--and more complexity--than most wheats, but still a decent poolside sipper. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Bottle. Clear gold and bubbly pour with a minimal white head. Mostly grass and straw aromas, with a bit of lemony hops. Flavor was an uneven mix of wheat, straw, grass, cardboard, lemon and band-aids. Thin bodied and slightly fizzy. I can’t sense any real redeeming qualities here...This seems almost lost in the dimension between American Wheat Beer and Golden Ale. The guy at a certain Long Island beer store had a particular disdain for this one when I asked about it. Stick to your quality ’big’ beers, ST. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA

Not as good as Gumballhead but pretty damn close. Nice combination of the drinkability of a summer wheat & the hop flavor I desire redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 30, 2007 A decent hop aroma but falls short in all other categories. Too sweet, watery, and just an off taste. Pretty bad actually. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2007 Crystal clear golden pour supporting a tall and quickly dissipating white head which leaves a delicate curtain of lacing. Aroma of citrus (grapefruit), apricots and hops. Pleasant fruity flavor up front with grapefruit and bubble gum followed by a surprising but very welcome hoppy kick. Mildly carbonated and light but not watery mouthfeel and a fruity, crisp finish. This beer reminds me a great deal of Three Floyds’ Gumball Head - a restrained version. Another winner from Southern Tier. PilsnerPeter (2667), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2007 Tap at Spuyten Duyvil: Pours golden with an average white head. The aroma is nicely hopped with a lemony & apricot hint. The body is lively carbonated, with a bit of a simple flavor. Hop character in flavor is more floral/perfumy and mild than that of the aroma. The wheat malt gives it a very crisp and clean finish. Nice for a thirst quencher on a summer day.
