Aroma is very hoppy (I believe Centennial) with very minor wheat/tart notes. They are there but play a minor role to the hops. Light bodied with a quick finish. Interesting take on the style. mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2007 This was a nice solid summer ale with a good hop presence. It had a nice creamy mouthfeel. The part that killed it for me though was the cloying sweetness. If they got rid of that, it’d be my go to wheat beer, but I just can’t get past that Tmoney99 (4742), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2007 Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured Clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus wheaty aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing balanced summer brew. Jvittorio4187 (255), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 5, 2007 Pours a clear, pale gold. Some hops on the nose. Very light on the palate. Got some hops to it. Very refreshing and crisp. Would be great on a hot summer day. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2007 Now this has a really nice hoppy nose on it, piney and resiny with a nice spiciness that reminds me of hallertauer. Really nice clear golden color with a firm one finger bright white head. Spicy hops dominate the flavor, but there’s a honeyed malt in there. Unfortunately the malts thin out toward the finish, leaving it unbalanced toward the bitter hoppiness. Man, I love the smell of this. Nephilium (553), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2007 Pours a clear amber with a quickly fading white head. A strong hop nose, with a hint of sweetness hiding behind it. A nice crisp wheat taste, with a bit of a hop bite. A wonderful session beer, and one of my favorite summer beers. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Aroma was of light fruit and some slight hops.Pours a medium copper with a medium off white head. The wheat was noticable in the flavor with some lemon and slight hops as well.Medium mouthfeel with a nice light fruit finish. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Pours a golden/light orange color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops, wheat, and some sweet malts. Flavor is huge of the citrus and pine hops up front that give way to it’s sweeter tones. Seems to be a little thin on the finish but still a decent brew.
