Aroma is of citrus and pine hops, wheat, and some sweet malts. Flavor is huge of the citrus and pine hops up front that give way to it’s sweeter tones. Seems to be a little thin on the finish but still a decent brew. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA

Dependable clear yellow pale lager colors and head. Smells a little sweet with a sense of strong ale, perhaps lemon. Strongish malt on back of tongue. Good non overpowering fizz. Do I detect a hop bite? Overall a pretty good beer except for the mild and medium uvula personalities. I was expected something a little different for a label with a sun on it. Doesn’t wheat beer have sludge on the bottom? Hey! This ain’t Founders! Oh, now I see the word hop on the front!? Seems to have more hops than wheat. Similar in satisfaction to Arcadia Sun and JW Dundee’s Hefe. I’ve tasted pale lagers that are more wheatlike than this.

The hops jump up on the first sip, kind of like biting an orange rind. Tart mouthfeel, a nice summer brew. beerlord (215), tonawanda, New York, USA

Nice hop boquet, not overpowering, flowery. Nice hop flavor but not excessivly bitter, a touch of orange chocolate comes through. Medium mouth feel. Brussels lace adorns the glass till empty. 12 oz bottle
Brewed circa summer 06, consumed 03/07
Moderate pour in a weizen glass
Poured a hazy amber with a large quickly diminishing bubbly white head with fair lacing.
Smelt of sour oranges, lemons, and coriander.
Taste was upfront moderate bitter sweet and strong sour orange candy followed by a strong bitter grassy hops and sour lemon rinds on an average length finish.
Palate was light bodied, watery to dry, effervescent and moderately astringent.
Overall, why so sour? Age and lager yeast could have been a factor. I will try again when fresh. tagz (334), USA

Grassy hop aroma and a light malt to keep things in balance. The wheat element is light, but present. Slightly metallic. Great lemony citrus flavors from the hops. A nice flavorful session beer.
