| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Pours a dark, clear gold with a nice white head. The aroma is light, flowery hops with slight dry maltiness. The flavor is nicely malty, some wheatiness and a pleasantly light hoppiness in the finish. Tastes kind of like a decent pilsner. I’d drink it again. cbkschubert (2027), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Wonderful aroma of caramel, pine resin, pineapple and oranges. This is, by far, Hop Sun’s greatest aspect however as appearance is pretty plain... golden color with no head to speak of. Flavor is a bit watery... the piney aspects of the hopping come through nicely, though. The crisp fruit promised in the aroma is just not there. It’s not bad or anything, just that the aroma promised a bit more than it delivered. zathrus13 (1317), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Pours yellow/gold, with a white head. Citrusy hops dominate the aroma. Flavors are hops, (citrus, and pine), some sugar/caramel, and wheat. Thanks to shadey for this bottle. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Updated: Jul 18, 2007Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Pale golden beer with a thick sticky white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, pine and lemon citrus. Some light wheaty malts backing it up. Flavour is well hopped as well, with citrus and pine. Very lean pale malts in back. Light bodied, but very refreshing. Good hoppy finish. A beer that summer was made for. Very well-executed... I wish we had more beers that were under 5% and tasty. Nice brew. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2006 Clear golden yellow, with very thin bubbly white head. The aroma is not very hoppy, instead it has a sweet citrusy character. Pleasant amount, not overpowering, hoppiness, with more of the citrus from the aroma. Not as crisp as it could be, taste lingers, leaving a slight aftertast. Pretty good, and easy to drink. maniac (2770), Richmond, Virginia, USA
