Commercial Description:
Pour Hop Sun Summer Wheat Beer into a pint glass, give it a long whiff and you'll realize that this isn't your average wheat beer. Filtered to a golden clarity and dry-hopped to perfection, Hop Sun is a fantastic session ale in which flavors of wheat, barley and hops co-mingle to a refreshing and zesty conclusion. Hints of lemon and sweet malts waft to the fore as a touch of bitterness contributes to Hop Sun's bright finish. Enjoy Hop Sun all summer long as a perfect balance to your outdoor recreation. Summer never tasted so good.

Bottle->shaker: Pours an average, frothy, white head atop a clear, yellow body. Aroma of straw, spruce, and citrus. The flavor’s duration is short, being lightly acidic and bitter. The body is medium, thin texture, and finishing astringently. A pretty good attempt at a lighter, summer-oriented craft beer.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma was dominated by wheat notes with some hops and fruit undertones. Flavor began sweet and ended with a nice hoppyness.

Huge floral citrus hop aroma with some nice wheat character. Clear golden body is topped by a fluffy white head that recedes slowly to a lasting cover with some nice lacing. Floral and lemon citrus hops over a surprisingly dry wheat body. Bitterness is pronounced and floral character is lingering. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Jul-09.

Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a loose-bubbled head. Aroma is strongly reminiscent of white wine - very dry and astringent. Tastes like a very, very dry blonde ale with a lot of the wheat character overwhelmed by dry hops and lemon, which linger long into the finish. Crisp body, decent carbonation. Very quaffable summer ale, not a lot of wheat character but that’s fine by me.

Decent enough session ale. Lots of wheat and citrus are present. A little pepper and other spices are present as well. Not the most interesting ale, but it certainly works as a summer thirst quencher.
