Commercial Description:
We craft this much like a sculptor who uses only a hammer and chisel to shape stone into a masterpiece. Hoppe is spawned of these few essentials: barley, wheat, hops, yeast and water. This limited palette is an exercise in minimalism, with refined elements which are deliberately selected. This simple combination creates a golden shimmering brew infused with delicate aromas. The artful nature of this beer is exposed with the first taste. As the malt and hops created a composition of flavors, and elegant finish leaves an impression that your tastes will not soon forget. Don't be deceived by th innocence of Hoppe. Please enjoy in moderation.

BOTTLE: slightly hazy yellow-gold pour, aroma is orange/citrus and hop. Some malt, but hops are present in the taste. Very pleasant tasting. Solid beer.

22oz bottle from mdm46410. Pours a hazy medium gold with a faint orange hue. A 2 finger off white head left nice lacing. Not sure why this is not classified as a double IPA.......oh well. Has a nose with some hops, more fruity than anything. Flavor was quite sweet with light hop bitterness. Finish with a medium body and a medium length palate.

Bottle - thanks to rudy for picking this up for me. Lovely bright golden with a large white head that leaves lots of lace. Fresh and full aroma, sweet and hoppy with notes of candied orange peel and pine needles. Medium bodied. Flavour is definitely hop-forward, with tingly hints of lemon, orange, pine and wintergreen. Malt is a bit muted, but there’s enough to add a mild sweetness in the background. A bit much for everyday drinking, but as far as hop bombs go, it’s quite a good one.

(Bottled, 0.66l) Clear golden with a small, lasting head. Aroma of pale malt, yeast, and some wheaty-lemony sourness. Pale-malty flavor with mellow hop presence, some alcohol warmth, pear, and hints of wheat. Medium-bodied, slicky palate with soft carbonation. Somewhat alcoholic, but at least easily drinkable with decent body.

0.65 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Bright copper color. Sweet, caramelly, warming, and hoppy aroma with pineapple and pine. Bittersweet, toffeish and hoppy flavor with grapefruity, piney and herbal hops. Tastes fortified with warming alcohol and hint of alcohol sharpness also. Good hop character but I found this a bit too sweet and chewy, not very drinkable.

Bottle. Low white fluffy and lasting head. Hazy amber body. Fruity caramel aroma and a bit of alcohol and hops. Pretty hoppy flavor though in combination with the high alcohol percentage is disguising other flavors. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste.
