Moves from oranges, to grapefruits, and into a dry finish. Very good IPA. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

A little too grassy for me. Slight/minimal citrus hints (grapefruit...tart). Aroma is difficult to place. There is a slight hint of oatmeal up front. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a smaller sandy head. Aroma is malty and dry, light floral hops. Flavor is malty and rich, caramel, and some floral hops providing a light bittersweetness. There is almost this hint of peanutbutter??? in the taste... that alone will make me cringe. Howeverm ir reatains a nice creamy palate. Thanks to The_Epeeist for this one. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 [Bottle] Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is big on hops--but it is a very unique smell that is very difficult to place. I’ll call it grassy, but there is also I believe some fruit in there and definitely something else as well that I cannot place. Taste is slightly bitter, then the malt takes over before a somewhat bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with an average length finish. A very frustrating beer to try and describe, but as far as enjoyment it was fairly average. Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 4, 2008 (bottle thanks OSLO) Pours out light amber with a white head. Aroma was initially quite pleasant with a good amount of citrus and light pine, but as the beer warmed this changed into a somewhat unpleasant odor that smells like a Glade plug-in mixed with some malt and orange peel. Taste is pretty basic, with some caramel malt and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied, pretty decent. dkachur (2416), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Looks like apple juice in the glass. Thin head. Strong hop aroma with some nuttiness in the background. Has kind of a woody, legume character. Nicely balanced, very nice beer. Hops are assertive, but not overly so. Smooth. Pours orange and is a "standard" IPA...but is one of the best regular IPAs that I’ve had. A really good balance between smoothness and bitterness here. Also a good balance between piney and citrus smelling hops. Basically the best of all IPA characteristics.
