Commercial Description:
IPA stands for India Pale Ale and ours is an American version of the classic style. IPA’s namesake lies in its colonial roots. British soldiers on their way to India dark a lot of beer, but found it would go stale on the long voyages. Meanwhile, brewers knew that by adding more hops, the beer would stay fresh. Voila! A new style was born and it is one we are proud to brew. Southern Tier IPA is a triple-hopped on its journey to your glass for a fully aromatic experience.

Bottle at 3 Smĺ Rum in Gothenburg, April 2009. Nice hoppy aroma and a pleasant bitter taste with hops and caramel. The finish was crisp.

Bottle. Poured medium orange with medium white head. Little lacing. Full piney, citrusy aroma. Tangerine, hop and a bit of malt flavour. Lasting hop finish. Refreshing after a busy day

Bottle: Poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was floral hops. The flavor is citrus, hops, and flowers. Overall, an above average IPA.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Bold orange with lasting head. Sweet and malty nose with ginger notes. Taste of malts, lots of grapefruit and hops. Dry and then alcy finish. Nice one.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice clear amber color. Thick pearly head. Aroma is very floral. Flavor is a nice grapefruit and hops, with a very crisp finish. A great IPA.

12oz Bottle – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
Aroma: Nice Hops and malt aroma the hops where strong and filled with floral.
Appearance: Dark golden in color, clear with a light head.
Flavor: Big IPA flavor this was with grapefruit flavors and huge floral from the hops.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a Great Mouthfeel.
Overall: A great IPA this is a great brewery.

Drank it with the 60 minute and they seemed pretty similar with the bitterness being a bit harsher in this one with a less-well-rounded taste. Both were very enjoyable though.

From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice Hoppy flavor with a lasting finish.
