12 oz bottle: Nice floral hop aroma, sharp citrus notes, a resin like pine notes, a slight detectable amount of roasted malts but the hops overpower them. Appearance is a nicely laced golden color with a tinge of amber poking through a soapy white film surrounds the top of the glass. Flavor is nice biting hops come to the forefront. A more rounded citrus note coats the mouth, then a slight roasted caramel slides it way through the pungent hop texture. There is a lingering hoppy resin that stays with you in the aftertaste. Overall, A solid IPA has a good hop backbone but not one the top tier. (pun not intended) Cheers!

Dec 1, 2008 A house beer locker bottle. Frothy, off white head with good lacing which remains, while the head diminishes to a small ring. Clear, amber/orange hue. Malty sweetness, citrus, a touch of spruce & herbs permeate the aroma. Flavor is citrus, herbs, & strong hop bitterness that lasts throughout. Good example of the style.

Nov 28, 2008 (Bottle). Sweet perfumy citrus aroma. Cloudy reddish amber body, large fluffy off-white head. Flavor is aggressively hopped, mainly tangerine, with a significantly bitter finish. Bracingly refreshing, if not particularly well balanced.

Nov 28, 2008 Gold color and an impressive, rocky head that lasts a long time. Well carbonated. Citrus hops are immediately apparent without even getting close to the glass. Lots of bread and crackers in the flavor with only moderate hops, but good nonetheless. I expected a more bitter, more powerful IPA.

Nov 28, 2008 Hazy dark orange-yellow body with two puffy fingers of off white head. Cracked sticky lacing. Grapefruit citrus hop aroma. Nice caramel bready malt then a nice citrus hop and floral hop finish.

Nov 27, 2008 Clear orange color with a bone colored medium sized head. Nose is pine, pink grapefruit, resin, and a slight sort of sour soapy smell. Tastes is toasted and oxidized, very acidic mouthfeel and kind of burnt tasting on the back end. This burnt smell blows off after a bit. Nose is much better than the taste.
