Commercial Description:
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

750 bottle. pours black with thin dark brown head. nice coffee aroma, some burnt caramel. taste is syrupy sweet, with coffee/espresso flavoring the rolls in and out. alcohol is well hidden. its more apparent in the smell. brings warmth to taste. mild, fine carb. nice flavors but its way too syrupy for me. the folks i was drinking it with bailed and i had to work my way through the whole 750 myself. a small glass is nice, but its too sweet for the long haul. may be better with some age.

Pours out an oily near-black colour with a ruby-hued brown head that fades completely. The initial smell is lactic and sour, but this fades quickly as it warms. The nose come to be mostly of roasted coffee beans, with cocoa and dried fruits. The flavour is authentically coffee-like, with strong roast and milky cocoa. Talk about sticky, this stuff is more viscous than anything I’ve encountered. My lips were sticking to the glass. The mouthfeel was oily and syrupy with soft, tingly carbonation. The booze is hidden phenominally. I had no Idea the abv wieghed in at 12%! I want MORE!

Bomber Pours an oily black colour with a small dark tan head. Nose initially of lactose, as the beer progressed coffee beans become robust, roasted malts and alcohol become apparent. A smokiness is also another stage of this aroma that progresses. Initial taste is syrupy and soft (more like a liquoer) with a heavy splash of coffee beans. Chocolate and roasted malts as the background character. The alcohol presence is very well masked and not even noticeable. Finishing with a coated sticky mouth of coffee and chocolate. Palate duration is perfect. Full rich body gave a proper presence to this beer. Coffee was rich and true and delicous. Bitter hops on the palate are a nice touch to the finish leaving this beer very well balanced. Awesome.

This beer pours a dark black color with a golden rim since there is no head or laceing. The aroma is very strong and full of coffee bean smell and some roasted malt. As you drink it the beer is very viscus and syrup like and it has a nice coffee and cream like finish to it. There is also some woody hints that are in the beer as well. The palate is amazing and nice and sticky. The coffee malt sticks to the sides of your mouth and lasts for such a long time. I really enjoy the roasted malt with the nice full bodied flavor on the side walls of my mouth long after the beer is in my stomach.

black body, tall burnt sienna creamy head. aroma is deep roasted/burnt coffee malt, licorice. flavor is burnt chestnuts, roasted acidic coffee malt like starbuck’s, licorice, carbonized sugar, and bitter finish. alcohol tastes like bourbon and vodka together, not too hot yet still pretty boozy. thanks for this bottle as a gift, IMtheOptimator!

Aroma is milky vanilla and tons and tons of coffee. Almost no alc. present. Taste is thick creamy coffee and dark milk chocolate oranges. Finishes slightly bitter and fizzy, but also dense and creamy. Just very well layered and freaking awesome. World Class.

Very dark brown color with small light brown head and no lacing.Weak chocolate and roasty aroma. Flavor is pretty smooth for it’s abv. Nice creamy chocolate and coffee notes. Well balanced hops and malts. Nice numbing feel when sloshed around in the mouth!
